Month 1 Highlights!

So much happened during my first month (January)!

• I was born on January 13 at 12:33 pm
• It was 25 degrees below zero (without windchill) on my birthday
• Flight 1549 made an emergency landing in the Hudson river in NY!
• We watched the President Barack Obama inauguration
• I gained all my weight back by my one week appointment (9 lbs 1 oz leaving hospital - 9 lbs 8 oz at my apt)!
• Puppy Weston was in depression with my arrival...I messed up his days a little
• I had lots of visitors...gma Debbie, pappa Ken, Auntie Tina, Uncle Jason G, Cousin Graycen, mommy's friends Ami, Jack, and Charlie; Lisa, Taylor, and Ian; Tanya, Mel...
• We had a party at my house and went to a superbowl party

Me and mommy love to hang out all day long. I sleep a lot still, but we have fun. Daddy loves to take naps with me, too. They love to take pictures of me:)

Gramma Debbie and Papa Ken visit

Grandma Debbie and Papa Ken came and visited me when I was a week old. I was so excited to see them I stayed up until 1 am waiting for them that night! They were so happy to see me still up:) We had a fun weekend. Cousin Graycen came over on Friday while Auntie was at work. We pretty much slept all day, but Gma and Papa loved looking at us all day long.

Photo shoot! Graycen wasn't having much fun and I had a hard time sitting up. What do expect from a week old and 6 week old baby? We are still cute though!

Coming home

It was the coldest week of the winter so I had to bundle up! Cousin Graycen visited me when I got home. Mommy and daddy were excited to be home but they looked at each other and said "now what? we have a baby!".

The hospital stay

We were in the hospital for 3 days and mommy and daddy were just so happy and amazed by me. I got to meet my auntie Tina, uncle Jason, and cousin Graycen! A lot of friends also stopped by. Mommy and Daddy have some really nice friends! They also took a lot of pictures of me. I was sleeping a lot, but those make really good pictures.

My Birthday!

January 13 was my birthday! After a long wait (41 weeks and 1 day) I decided I needed to join the world. Mommy ended up having a C-section because I was such a big baby! Even all the nurses were commenting on how big and long I was. I was 9lbs 8oz and 22.75 inches long!

Daddy got to take care of me while we waited for mommy to get cleaned up. We loved it!

Before I was born

Mommy and Daddy were so excited about me that they had lots of pictures taken before I was even born! How cool are these 4D ultrasounds? Their favorite is me smiling:) They were hoping from this picture I was going to be a happy baby!
