Month 5 Highlights

Here's what happened turing 6 months:

• I am rolling around like crazy.
• I started eating cereal, veggies, and fruit...yummy!
• I started sitting up all by myself!
• I went to Lake Metigoshe for the first time.
• I started sleeping better...still not sleeping through the night every night, but I did have some good ones!
• Gramma Debbie came down to babysit me for a week because daycare was closed.
• I am putting EVERYTHING in my mouth!
• National news: King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died. Mommy used to love him when she was little!

Stats:

I weighed 19 lbs and 8 oz and measured 28 3/4 inches long at my 6 month doctor's appointment! I'm still off the charts for my height (comparable to a 11 1/2 month old!). I hope I slow down one of these days.

4th of July

I had so much fun at the lake over the 4th of July! Mommy's whole family was up there and we played a lot. It was good weather so we were outside all weekend long. We went swimming, swinging, pontooning, and saw (and heard) a lot of fireworks! I can't wait to go there again!

Cousin Jaxon and Keaton got me this crab floaty so I could go swimming in the lake.

Father's Day

Happy Father's day, daddy! I had fun going out to brunch and hangin' out all day. Mom and dad said eating out isn't as fun as it used to be! I guess I'm a little busier these days that there isn't much enjoyable eating that can be done:)

I love to eat! At 5 months I was ready to try cereal for the first time. I actually liked it...alot! I did very good at figuring out how to eat and kept most of it in my mouth.

What are you are putting in my mouth?
