Month 8 Highlights

It was a busy 8th month (Sept - Oct). I was so busy that it was hard taking pictures of me. I want to be on the go all the time and don't sit still a whole lot. There's so much to do and see!

Highlights:

Mommy's favorite: I started sleeping through the night almost every night...mommy still wakes up wondering if I am going to join her, but I've been really good!
I got 2 more teeth, total of 4 now
I learned to kiss! I am kissing everyone this month! Lots of love to give:)
I am eating more food; my favorite is cheese and pasta
I can play catch! I get really excited when I throw a ball (I kind of squeal)
Daddy's favorite: We have a dance party...whenever I hear music, I put one hand up in the air and start to dance! It's hilarious!

Stats:

Wow I keep on growing! At my 9 month apointment I weighed 23 lbs and 13 oz and was 31 1/2 inches tall. I am measuring the size of an 18 month old! I hope I slow down a little bit.

Happy Halloween

It was my first Halloween and I dressed up as a lady bug. I went to mommy's work and to daddy's work to see everyone. Graycen also came over dressed up. It was a fun time, but I was ready to get out of the costume by the end of the festivities.

After a day of fun, we went to a birthday party that night. I got to stay up way past my bedtime, so I was pretty tired on the way home.

Fall Fun

Mommy's favorite season...fall! Lots of leaves to play in.

Weekend with Family

Mid October was ND teacher's conferences, so Gramma, Papa, Uncle Ja, Auntie Kristi, Cousins Jaxon, Keaton, Sommer and Macie all came down to visit me and Graycen! We played a lot, did a little shopping, and played a little more.

We tried to get some good Halloween pictures, but it was a little tough. Kids sometimes don't like to cooperate for pictures.

Family Trip to Two Harbors

Happy 3 year anniversary (9/30/09), mom and dad! To celebrate, we took a family trip to Two Harbors, MN. Mommy has been wanting to go up north to see the beautiful fall colors and she finally got daddy to go "look at leaves"! Since it was such a warm September, we missed the peak of the color changes, but it was still pretty. It was a cold, wet weekend, but we still got to make it outside for some hiking and site seeing. Mommy and Daddy couldn't resist the famous Betty's Pies too. Yummy!

We stayed at a nice resort and had a great view from our deck overlooking Lake Superior.

We visited Split Rock Lighthouse and had some amazing views.

We did some hiking at Gooseberry Falls. I love being outside even if it is a little chilly.

This is so much fun!

Back at our resort, we got to go swimming. It's been awhile since I have been in a pool and I forgot how fun it was!

Once I warmed up to the water, I had so much fun splashing and making lots of noise:)

Favorite new toy

This is my favorite new toy! I'm learning to walk and this push toy plays music while I walk. Gramma thinks I look like a little ol' lady with a walker. It's so much fun to actually get around on my feet!
